So here is the verdict.
First off, the comparison between shack shake and in-n-out is a pretty accurate one. They both try and do the same thing - good fast food. And they both succeed.
But I’d say Shake Shack is overall a better quality and better tasting meal. Fries, shakes and burgers are all better at Shake Shack.
In-n-out does have price and atmosphere on its side but when it comes down to it - Food matters most.
