Howard and Leslie →
iamachilles:
People I know have been messing around with xtranormal.com, a site that lets you create short cartoons using their set of animation templates.
Several people have already mentioned this, but the best of the bunch is Donald Glover’s “Howard and Leslie” series of shorts. You need to watch them in order beginning with the first one, “Booklet.”
They’re all great, but my favorite is...
I have a theory about why adolescence is so painful and so laden with nostalgia....

How many more teen movies disguised as indy films are you going to make before you realize that this needs to happen?
Don’t ruin this for all of us, Cera.

Party Bus →
“Who said preteens don’t know how to party? Oh that’s right—nobody. Well, a few Connecticut middle schoolers really stepped up to the plate and turned their school bus into a booze cruise on wheels, selling mixed drinks to the other students on board for two dollars each.”
Oh, those were the days.
Extinction of Primetime →
“This reminds me of a joke Tina Fey told at the Television Critics Association awards ceremony. She thanked us “for making ‘30 Rock’ the most successful cable show on broadcast television,” and added: “Oh, it’s a great time to be on broadcast television, isn’t it? It’s exciting! It’s like being in vaudeville in the ’60s!””

I found this off Stumbleupon… it’s really cool. Like Pandora, but you pick what you want to hear. Music, Music, Music.

Sorry for the poor quality. This is from a meeting about the new budget they just passed for the MTA. Which will raise prices on the subway and much more… Anyway, this guy speaks against it and then TRIES TO THROW HIS SHOE at someone. I love that this is becoming a thing.
Amy’s Goodbye… I haven’t laughed so hard in a long while.
I just finished College
I just graduated college… well, for all intents and purposes, I am done… Now if some nice person could just give me a job and a nice, cheap, NYC apartment. Come on world, cut me some slack.

10 Things I Love/Hate About Boston
#6 - (I know I missed a day) Books
Love:
Boston Public Library
The library in this town is top notch. Not just that the central library, which is really old and nice to look at, but the infrastruture of the system. Let me explain, using there website u can put any book or dvd (ANYTHING) on hold and have it delieved to the library near you. I haven’t bought a book in the last year and a...
How did they even know? →
“In the skit, which appeared on the “Weekend Update” portion of the show on NBC, Fred Armisen portrayed a bumbling, lispy Mr. Paterson who referred repeatedly to cocaine use and compared his path to the governor’s office to “an actual plot from a Richard Pryor movie.”
To be fair… how did blind people even get offended by the skit, really, how?

Big Deer On Campus
A recent receSs video where I get to run around campus in a deer outfit.
I support this.
Movie Review:
(As a note, I went into this movie knowing nothing about it, nothing at all. )
I’ll describe it as this, the Indian version of Forrest Gump, without an interesting main character and without the tongue and cheek fun parts of the film that make Forrest Gump awesome. Besides some cool shots and chase scenes, a pretty big waste of time. Love does not conquer all.

10 Things I Love/Hate about Boston
#7 - North End/NightLife
Love:
North End and It’s Market
The north end of Boston, is one of the coolest neighborhoods I’ve ever been too. It’s very old school italian. Sure its got its tourist shops and college kids (they everywhere) but a lot of its character remains, and its got great food and great narrow streets to explore. Also, most of the days of the week it has an...

#8 -Bureaucracy/Interestingness
So this one is more about school, but thats a big part of my Boston Life, so it counts.
Love:
Class.
Interesting Classes, I really loved attending, and I’ll list the ones that were worth attending out of all my courses in college, cause there were not many. Sociology of Developing Nations, History of the U.S. 1945-68 & 1968-Present, History of War,...

#9 -The River/Sports
Love:
The Charles river in Boston is very open to the public, and has some awesome places to walk along. It runs along the length of my campus and makes for a pretty site.
Hate:
Sports fans in this town. Which is the majority of the town. They are almost exclusively huge douchebags. ( I don’t mind Kerry too much though.)
10 Things I Love/Hate about Boston
So I leave Boston, or I’m done, in about 10 days, so I thought I’d do a list of the 10 things I love about this city and the 10 things I hate… one will definitely be easier than the other. Anyway, I’ll reveal one of each for the next 10 days.

Harold Mehling
So right now I am putting the finishing touches on the last academic paper I will ever write and I found at the beginning of this book, a dedication from the author, Harold Mehling. He writes:
“To Boston University (where I go) A Fine Institution, A Fine School of Broadcasting (That’s been gone for a while) Keep up the good work. Fondly, Harold Mehling.”
I realized a couple...
